Rapture Addendum

It seems to me that people who believe in the pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation have become fear mongers in the Church and call themselves ministers. Ministers of what and whom? The word of God is a comfort to believers.

The Comforter has come with all the spiritual gifts we need to defeat the already defeated enemy, Satan. What do you need to fear about the Great Tribulation that you need to escape from? Jesus took the keys of death and Hates and snatched out of Satan hands. With a show of force in three days He went to the underworld and led captivity captive up to heaven.

With an all powerful God like we have what do we have to fear? A Church Fear Monger?  Don’t you believe that Jesus can protect His flock from His high place just sitting on his throne next to the Fathers? And don’t let Jesus stand up and cheer us on like He did for Stephen. At your moment in need you might have a vision of heaven. Where you see Jesus standing before His throne saying with a fist held high, and talking to the Father saying, “Now that’s what I’m talking about!!!” And He is talking about you.

We like to hear sermons about Daniel in the lion’s den, but what about the stoning of Stephen for Christ Sake. We like to hear sermons about Shadrack, Meshack, and Abenigo spared from the fiery furnace, but what about Sampson who blinded and committed suicide as a servant of the Lord to destroy God’s enemies.  

Why fear when God is a deliverer and uses as soldiers dying for or faith in Jesus Christ in the army of the Lord.

Don’t be afraid to serve God. For God has not given us a spirit of fear but a spirit of power, a spirit of love and a sound mind. Ignore the fear mongers.

Instead, repeat the Boy Scout motto. Simply stated, 

“Be prepared.”
