I like to say "I Write," to set me apart from what some other men write

Today I realized the book, I wrote years ago, “Things I Write About Women” is about Diva’s. ( OK I’m not the brightest guy on the block.) They are Daddy’s girls. They look and act in and dress in curious fashions at least to me. I’m a rather curious guy myself. I made friends with women at certain places being led by the Spirit which is not religious at the time of writing. There are also Drama Queen’s and Bridezilla’s in my live if not one and the same. They are attracted to me for various reasons. One girl in High School said I am the marrying type so it’s always been one at a time for long times. I let many review my writings as I wrote. I did not know how to stop writing about women so I asked the owner of Marcus Bookstore. He said just stop. I paid him $20.00. He tried to give it back but I needed him to tell me that. It was well worth it. Since then I have met an observed so many others.

How do you effective serve people? Emotional Intellegence

The following is an experience I had where it was necessary to use my emotional intelligence and vulnerability as Jesus and His disciples where taught by him. It is a legal document as I used this example in a paper I wrote while attending Kaplan Online University as a Communications major. I attended three 10 weeks terms two classes each term. I remained on the Presidents Honor Role with a 3.96 GPA (all A's) and the Deans Honors list with a 3.95 GPA because I received an A- in survey of math.

There are spiritual, intellectual, physical and external forces that have an affect on emotions. Effective communication has to employ emotional competence which includes intellect which is a current study. Jesus said it best when he said eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, the mind has not conceived the things that come to be or yet will become. Greater works will we do than He because He will be with the Father.

With his great display of emotional competence He demonstrated what a perfect man is that we yet to have become. Or have some doing the greater works He spoke of individually and collectively. How do you effective serve people? You have to be emotionally competent knowing that we are emotional people. In order to do certain kinds of work you have to demonstrate that you are competent to do the job. A college degree demonstrates that you are competent to complete the curriculum of your major. Some jobs require a lesser degree of competency and here is where the conflict of emotions lies.

An example of emotional competency would be a passenger on a bus with an unruly bus driver. The bus driver is not courteous as the passenger attempts to pay his fare. Intentionally the bus driver takes off fast causing the passenger to adjust his footing and grab something to hold onto lest he falls and injures himself. Instead of confronting the driver the passenger pays his fare and makes his way to a seat by holding on to available support polls. There is no reason for the driver to take off and drive that fast and break hard when he has to stop at every light and bus stop along the way.

The passenger knows he can’t remedy the situation so he exercises his emotional control and vulnerability through understanding the feelings that surface within himself, the other passengers and the driver. Choosing to address the situation to serve the interest the other passengers he can inquire if the bus driver knows what is required of him in the performance of his duties without directly confronting him so he has not to respond, point, by point, by point. For the duration of the trip the drivers performance improves but does not cease for he does not see himself as a public servant. This problem seems to be systemic with AC Transit as bus drivers look for opportunities to aggravate their passengers on the premise that they must keep on schedule and they rarely do.

About Me

My Photo
Oakland, CA, United States
Winston, a graduate of Bay Cities Bible Institute, Communications major at Kaplan Online University 3.9 GPA was asked, “What did it take to become the type of writer you are? He replied he had to leave mother, father, and sister, etc. After believing Malachi and Paul, Winston figured, “Why not try all of Gods word the same way?” and the word of God hasn't failed him yet. He completed Clinical Pastoral Education (C.P.E.), and has been a Systems Programming Analyst, and traveled across the country job related and he even went on a tour of the White House. His life testimony also includes his journey from a large family with all needs met but not many wants. He also began a trek in ministry traveling across the country with his second wife. Then he continued with a trek through homelessness, shelters, and transitional homes. During his homeless trek he carried in his backpack a laptop he purchased and he began to learn how to write. After going through all the trials and tribulations associated with that life style he prayed, “LORD if you ever have me write another book please give me a roof over my head.” Well, he did and he’s completed a total of twenty-one books.
